We've come to the part of toddler hood and child rearing that I've feared the most... potty training. I have been dreading it and putting it off as long as possible, but apparently I'm the only person who thinks it's socially acceptable for a 32-month old to still be wearing Huggies.
Ahem.
So, give me all your advice. What worked, what didn't, what you wish you'd done differently, how seriously you contemplated giving your kid a swirly whirly after cleaning up the two hundredth accident for that day. All I have in my arsenal is a whole boatload of anxiety. Tomorrow we will venture out for the Elmo potty seat, big boy underwear, and a refill on my Xanax prescription.
